South Florida Sets Season-High in Win Over Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 5, 2024 – The University of South Florida softball team (25-15, 5-8 AAC) set a season-high of 12 runs in its win over the Memphis Tigers (4-28, 1-12 AAC) to open the series on Friday night in Memphis. The Bulls won with a final of 12-1.

South Florida wasted no time getting on the board. After a double from Olivia Eliot (Tampa) and a passed ball from the Tigers, Marissa Trivelpiece (Sugarloaf, Pa.) hit a sacrifice fly to score the Bull's first run.

The Bulls extended their lead by three runs in the third inning with a double, a single, and a walk.
