ORLANDO, Fla., November 3, 2022 – The University of South Florida women's soccer team's season came to an end in the semifinals of the 2022 American Athletic Conference Tournament to the SMU Mustangs.
SMU took the early lead with a drive down the field, getting past Rosalia Muino Gonzalez (Coruna, Spain) and with a shot that narrowly missed Sydney Martinez (Rincon, Ga.). It was the second time this season that the Bulls have allowed a goal in the first 10 minutes. 12 minutes later, the Mustangs grew their lead to 2-0.
