Scott Pleased With Bulls Second Scrimmage As Camp Ends And Game Prep For BYU Begins

What a difference a week made for the Bulls.

After an uneven, penalty-plagued and turnover-filled scrimmage last week, the Bulls registered a clean, crisp and productive effort Saturday morning in their second and final full scrimmage of fall training camp.

One week ago, the Bulls recorded 15 penalties and four turnovers.

Saturday, it was just three penalties (two offsides) and no turnovers. Zero. The offense moved the ball and scored. The defense responded with big stops and solid tackling in the back-and-forth affair. And, no injuries.

"That's making a big change and being a lot more disciplined in practice,'' head coach Jeff Scott said.
