KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C., OCT. 25, 2015 – Maria Rodriguez led all players with seven birdies during the opening round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Sunday.
Four birdies on the back nine helped Rodriguez finish the round at even par at Turtle Point Golf Course (par-72, 5,972 yards). Rodriguez will begin Monday’s second round tied for 19th place and five shots away from leader Nadine White of Campbell.
USF (+21) started its final tournament of the fall in 17th place and 15 shots outside of the top 10.
