REPORT: USF is Investigating Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach Tom Herrion for Multiple Racially Charged Comments. Head Coach Brian Gregory Also Under Investigation for Not Disciplining or Reporting the Incidents

According to Draft King’s [and The Daily Stampede founder] Collin Sherwin, the University of South Florida is investigating USF men’s basketball associate head coach Tom Herrion for making multiple racially charged comments. The school is also investigating head coach Brian Gregory for failing to discipline Herrion or report the incidents to USF Athletics.

I would expect USF to release something official related to this soon. But this is something the university is taking beyond seriously.

This comes on the heels of five players—David Collins, Justin Brown, Madut Akec, Xavier Castaneda, and Rashun Williams—deciding to enter the transfer portal this week.
