If you thought the weekend was huge for USF recruiting, Monday's news nearly upstaged it.
Plant dual-threat QB Jordan McCloud, whose brother Ray Ray is Hillsborough county's No. 2 all-time rusher (and a Clemson wideout), announced via Twitter on Monday he intends to sign with the Bulls.
In a text message, McCloud, an offseason transfer from Sickles, said the USF coaching staff and the school's proximity to his home were the biggest factors in his decision. "Wanted to a join a great place (on) the rise," he said.
A three-star prospect per 247Sports, McCloud is the Bulls' 12th commitment since Friday, and 26th from the Class of '18.
