TAMPA (May 1)- The No. 27 University of South Florida Men's Tennis team earned four American Athletic Conference Honors, named on Wednesday.
No. 66 Hugo Car was chosen as the 2025 American Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Year. Car is the sixth Bull to be named Player of the Year and the first since 2019. Car has a 20-6 singles record, including a 15-match winning streak.
Gughi Verdese was named the 2025 American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year. Verdese os the second Bull to be named Freshman of the Year and the first since 2019.
