PHILADELPHIA, Pa. October 14, 2023 – South Florida men's soccer (3-7-1, 1-3-1) and Temple (2-5-4, 1-2-2) ended the match in a tie, 1-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Temple Sports Complex in Philadelphia, Pa.
Nearly eight minutes into match play, Temple's Juan Zepeda scored his second goal of the season off the foot of Elias Betancourt. It was a back-and-forth battle for the remainder of the opening stanza.
The Bulls eventually countered, as 65 seconds after returning from the break Takeru Moriyama (46') scored his first goal of the season. USF attempted to seal the deal in the second half, as the team took 12-of-17 total shots throughout the back-half.
