TAMPA, Jan. 28, 2019–USF men's soccer head coach Bob Butehorn announced the four-game spring 2019 schedule, including four games against Division I, USL and MLS teams beginning Saturday Feb. 2.
USF, who ended with 2018 with a 7-8-2 regular season record, will open up their spring slate with a matchup against Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union. The match is slated for Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex. USF and the Union enjoy connections as former Bull Marcus Epps played with the Union last season, and current Bulls sophomores Josue Monge and Freddy Gil are Philadelphia Union Academy products.
