Men's hoops: Bulls picked 10th by AAC coaches

The USF men's basketball team's overhauled roster hasn't resulted in overhauled expectations, at least not within the American Athletic Conference coaching fraternity.

The Bulls, coming off a 9-23 season, were picked to finish 10th out of 11 teams by league coaches in the AAC's preseason poll. Only Tulane (11 points) received fewer points than USF (20).

SMU, ineligible for postseason play, was picked to win the conference, receiving eight of 11 first-place votes. Connecticut (two) and Cincinnati (one) got the other first-place votes.

No Bull was picked for either the preseason All-AAC first or second team.
