PHILADELPHIA, OCT. 17, 2020 – Jordan McCloud's third touchdown pass of the day helped the Bulls build an 11-point lead late in the third quarter, but Temple scored 19 unanswered to hand USF a heartbreaking 39-37 loss Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field.
Following the scoring surge by Temple (1-1, 1-1 in AAC) that gave the Owls the lead, the Bulls answered back with a 1-yard touchdown run by Leonard Parker (Tampa) with just 1:03 remaining that cut the lead to two. USF (1-4, 0-3 in AAC) was unsuccessful on a potential game-tying two-point conversion attempt and didn't get the ball back until the final play.
