Sophomore TB Marlon Mack has been named American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week following his sparkling night (21 carries, 230 yards, two TDs) in Saturday's 44-23 upset of Temple.
On Sunday, Mack was named the AAC's Player of the Week by College Sports Madness. Mack now leads the conference in rushing (118.3 ypg). The previous leader, Temple's Jahad Thomas, fell to No. 2 (103.5) after being held to 65 yards Saturday.
Mack's 48-yard TD run with 2:38 to play sealed the triumph. He had a 57-yard scoring run up the middle in the second quarter.
