IRVING, Texas (October 9, 2023) – The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly Offensive Player of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week, Goalkeeper of the Week, and Honor Roll on Monday. Signe Markvardsen paced the University of South Florida women's soccer team and was named the AAC Offensive Player of the Week after a strong showing for the week.
Markvardsen led the team with a perfect shot-on-goal percentage of 1.000. She recorded the game-winning goal for the USF victory over UAB on the road in the 80th minute. She also played a key role in the South Florida defense, keeping UAB off the scoreboard.
