TAMPA, JULY 1, 2016 – Recent MLB Draft pick Luke Maglich launched his first homer as a pro earlier this week.
Maglich, a 34th-round pick by Philadelphia, jumped on a 3-1 pitch and hit a solo homer in the Williamsport Crosscutters’ 7-3 win over Tri-City on Wednesday night. Maglich has six hits in 10 at-bats this week after going 3-for-4 Thursday night in New York-Penn League (Class-A Short Season) action. Maglich is hitting .333 with three RBIs, a double, a steal and two walks through eight games.
