TAMPA, DEC. 12, 2016 – Sophomore Kitija Laksa only needed two points Sunday afternoon to join esteemed Hall of Fame company as the third fastest player in program history to reach 500 points. The sophomore turned in 20, propelling her to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll the league announced Monday.
Due to finals, USF (7-0) only played one contest last week, but Laksa (Riga, Latvia) turned in a solid night at Arkansas State to help keep the Bulls undefeated. Laksa scored 20 points in 23 minutes and shot 47 percent from the floor.
