WICHITA, Kan., MAY 10, 2019 – Sophomore Brittany Krug (Loretto, Pa.) scored five points and posted the third-longest outdoor javelin throw in school history Friday afternoon to highlight competition for USF at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships from Cessna Stadium.
Krug turned in a fourth-place finish and registered a new personal best with a distance of 151-09.00, surpassing her previous top distance of 151-07.00 by two inches.
"Scoring points means a lot because it's not only an individual event, but it's a team event as well," Krug said. "I was honored to have my team behind me and to hear them cheering me on.
