IRVING, Texas (Oct. 11, 2021) – University of South Florida men's soccer standout Kazuna Takase has been named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending Oct. 10, the league announced on Monday. It is Takase's second conference Player of the Week honor of his career. Also, freshman Jeffrey "JT" Copper was selected to The American weekly honor roll.
South Florida recorded its first conference win of the season with a dominating 3-0 victory at Temple on Saturday night. The Bulls held the upper hand from the opening kickoff on both ends of the field, outshooting the Owls 13-8 on the night and 6-4 in shots on goal.
