TAMPA (March 4, 2022) – Redshirt sophomore Jack Jasiak (Spring Hill) matched a career high with 12 strikeouts Friday night in a 3-0 victory for the University of South Florida (6-3) over Brown University (1-3) at USF Baseball Stadium.
Hunter Mink (Palm Harbor) did not allow a hit in relief over the final two innings to secure his second save of the season and struck out four Brown Bears.
Jasiak (1-0) set the tone with immaculate inning – nine pitches for three strikeouts – in the top of the first and was in command from there.
