TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 16, 2019 – One of the most decorated duos in University of South Florida women's soccer history added another accolade on Monday, with United Soccer Coaches announcing Andrea Hauksdottir and Evelyne Viens were named to the First Team Scholar All-South Region list.
"Andrea and Evelyne embody exactly what we want in our student athletes here at USF," head coach Denise Schilte-Brown said. "They work equally as hard at their academic achievement as they do at their development of soccer."
The South Region for consists of schools from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
