CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (March 29, 2022) – Sophomore Melanie Green (Medina, N.Y.) posted her fourth top 5 finish this season and led the University of South Florida to a sixth-place team finish at the Chattanooga Classic at Council Fire Golf Club.
Green, who tied for fourth at the Chattanooga Classic, has finished inside the top 25 in seven of eight events this season and tallied five top 10 finishes, including her first collegiate win earlier this month at the Trinity Forest Invitational.
Over three days and 54 holes at the Chattanooga Classic, Green fired a score of two-under-par 214 and was one of just seven golfers in the 105-player field to finish under par.
