TAMPA, Fla., SEPT. 1, 2021 – More than 12,000 USF students downloaded and used the HerdPerks app to get tickets, event information and engage with USF Athletics in 2020-21, but only one earned the keys to a brand-new car.
Kyndra Mcleod, a junior from Bradenton, Fla., was surprised with the news that she had won during a live event at Parks Ford dealership in Wesley Chapel that included Vice President of Athletics Michael Kelly and Terry Mullane, Vice President/General Manager of Parks Ford.
"Despite the fact that it was a different year due to COVID-19, I had a lot of fun using the app, and I can't wait to be back to a more normal year in 2021 and 2022" said a grinning Mcleod.
