TAMPA, JULY 18, 2023 – First-Year Head Coach Alex Golesh, senior quarterback Gerry Bohanon (Earle, Ark.) and junior defensive tackle Rashad Cheney (Atlanta) will represent the South Florida football program at the 2023 American Athletic Conference Football Media Days, July 24-25 at Live! By Loews in Arlington, Texas.
The American welcomes six new programs to the conference in 2023, including Charlotte, UAB, FAU, North Texas, Rice and UTSA. UTSA won Conference USA titles the last two seasons and is projected as a potential preseason top 25 team.
