IRVING, Texas, July 28, 2025 – The American Conference announced its yearly Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday. Georgia Brown was named the 2024-25 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year as well as the conference's women's soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Jake Peacock was named the American Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Brown is a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-America selection, including a first-team choice in 2024, when she earned first-team all-conference honors. A standout defender, Brown also contributed four goals and two assists in 2024 on her way to a second consecutive all-conference selection.
