After a five-year hiatus, the USF Athletics Hall of Fame will induct a new class. The 2019 group features three student-athletics who had outstanding careers in the green and gold: Shantia Grace (women’s basketball, 2005-09), Sara Nevins (softball, 2011-14) and George Selvie (football, 2006-2009).
Shantia Grace
Shantia Grace came to USF out of Riverview High School in Sarasota and is the third women’s basketball player to be selected to USF’s Athletics Hall of Fame, joining Wanda Guyton (2009) and Jessica Dickson (2012). Grace helped lead the Bulls to the 2009 WNIT championship, where she was voted the MVP of the tournament.
