TULSA, Okla. (Oct. 2, 2016)-- After two grueling days of competition, all three men's tennis team members have advanced to the qualifying draw of the ITA All-American Championships.
Justin Roberts, Peter Bertran and Alberto Barroso will join Vadym Kalyuzhnyy in the qualifying draw competition which begins Oct. 3.
Roberts had to go through a difficult match against Temple’s Uladzimir Dorash. After dropping the first set 1-6, Roberts fought back and won the battle 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. Roberts then cruised past Max Andrews of Miami, 6-1, 6-3.
On day two, Roberts once again picked up two wins, topping Parker Wynn of Louisville, 6-4, 7-6(6) and Yannick James of Denver, 6-3, 6-3.
