TAMPA (Oct. 25, 2016) – The USA Softball Women’s National Team has announced its initial pool of 43 players that will be invited to try out for 17 roster spots on the 2017 squad.
Current USF players Juli Weber and Astin Donovan, are among the players invited to the selection camp that will take place Jan. 1-5, 2017 at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Fla.
Weber was the 2016 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year, a first-team all-region member and had two SportsCenter Top 10 plays during her junior year. She led the conference with a .
