Fernandes shot 208 (-5) overall over 54 holes, leading USF to its third tournament win of the season while tying Taylor Hancock of North Florida and Fredrik Nilehn of Kennesaw State for first place at Irish Creek Golf Club. It was the third Bull this season to record an individual championship, joining junior Chase Koepka and freshman Claudio Correa.
The Bulls face off for a shot at the conference title April 26-28 at the American Athletic Conference Championship in Lecanto, Fla.
