PROVIDENCE, R.I., Oct. 8, 2018–USF's Harrison Devenish-Meares, junior goalkeeper on the men's soccer team, was named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday.
Devenish-Meares (Sydney, Australia) boosted the Bulls (4-5-2, 1-0-2 AAC) in USF's 1-1 draw to SMU. The Aussie bagged 10 saves on the night, setting a new career-high for the third time in the 2018 campaign. Most notably, Devenish-Meares saved a potential game-winner in a one-on-one situation in the final minute against the Mustangs on Saturday night, forcing the overtime period which led to a draw in conference play.
