TAMPA, April 18, 2022 – University of South Florida senior Georgina Corrick was named the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the seventh time this season, the league announced on Monday afternoon. Alexis Johns also earned a spot on the weekly honor roll for the second time this season.
Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) earned the win in her only appearance of the week in the second game of USF's midweek doubleheader. Taking a perfect game into the seventh inning, the senior tossed her 15th shutout of the season, tying the program's single-season record.
