TAMPA, Fla., March 18, 2022 – Not only did University of South Florida pitcher throw her 11 complete-game shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over Lehigh, she also crushed the game-winning solo home run in the Bulls' 25 victory of the season.
Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) struck out 13 to push her career total to 1,079, just 25 shy of breaking the program record of 1,103 set by Sara Nevins. The solo home run was her first of the season and sixth of her career.
Pitchers dueled for most of the contest. South Florida finally broke through in the bottom of the sixth.
