TAMPA, Fla., March 5, 2022 – University of South Florida pitcher threw her 1,000 career strikeout as the Bulls swept the second day of the USF Tournament with wins over UIC, 4-0, and Army, 4-1.
"It was definitely a really high intensity moment," Corrick said. "Going in, I wasn't really worried about the number or it being 1,000. We were in a tight situation with a runner on third and I just wanted to make sure I gave our team the best chance that I could to win."
Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) earned the win in both games, tossing a combined total of 9.
