TAMPA, JUNE 24, 2022 – A pair of University of South Florida All-Americans are being recognized for their tremendous performances during the 2021-22 athletics season as they have been selected the USF Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year in conjunction with the Sports Club of Tampa Bay honor that has been awarded since 2016.
Softball pitcher (Sanford, Fla.) was tabbed the Bulls' Female Student-Athlete of the Year, earning the honor for the second straight year, while track and field high jumper (Portland, Jamaica) was named Male Student-Athlete of the Year.
The Sports Club of Tampa Bay earlier honored head women's basketball coach and head sailing coach when they were inducted into the club's Hall of Fame on June 8 at TPepin's Hospitality Centre in Tampa.
