How he came to USF: Thomas committed to USF’s 2017 recruiting class along with teammates Naytron Culpepper and Kevaughn Dingle out of Carol City High School in Miami. As a senior, he posted 30 tackles and seven interceptions, one of those picks coming in the Class 6A state championship game. He chose USF over offers from Indiana, ECU, and Western Kentucky among others.
