GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 29, 2017) – On day two of the ITA Kick-Off weekend the University of South Florida men’s tennis team posted a 4-0 victory against UNCW.
The Bulls took the singles courts with a 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point, and senior Vadym Kalyuzhnyy struck first in the No. 5 spot with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Michael Copeland.
No. 77 Peter Bertran, Justin Roberts, and Alberto Barroso-Campos all followed suit taking their matches in straight sets to seal the victory for the Bulls. Freshman Pierre Luquet and Nils Heimer were in progress when Barroso-Campos clinched the match for USF.
