TAMPA (June 14, 2016)--Two rising juniors have started the summer pro circuit season out impressively by advancing through qualification tournaments into main draws on the ITF Futures Circuit. Peter Bertran won two matches in qualification of the $10,000 event in Cartagena, Columbia while Justin Roberts advanced into the main draw at the $10,000 event in Buffalo, N.Y.
Former All-Americans Roberto Cid and Dominic Cotrone are also active this summer with Cid in Cartagena’s main draw and Cotrone in Buffalo.
USF has been a favored training ground for players with aspirations of playing professional tennis, according to Head Coach Matt Hill.
