After defeating Auburn, 2-1, in stunning fashion in the season opener, USF broke the program attendance record against Florida in a 2-0 loss.
The Bulls were chosen to finish first in the American Athletic Conference this season by coaches and feature two members of the preseason all-conference team in seniors Evelyne Viens (L'Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec, Canada) and Andrea Hauksdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland).
