LONDON, Conn., APRIL 12, 2016 – The University of South Florida women’s sailing team competed in the Emily Wick Women’s Regatta at Connecticut College on Saturday and Sunday. The two-day event featured more brisk weather for the Bulls with temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
The highlight of the weekend occurred in the B division where sailors Darcy Jensen (Mount Dora, Fla.) and Rachel Yannelli (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) utilized lighter winds to surge into fourth place. Once heavier winds increased, the team slipped back to a 14th place finish.
In the A division, sailors Darby Capellin (Bardenton, Fla.
