GREENVILLE, N.C. (April 21, 2018) – USF dropped a close, 3-2, game at ECU on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls outhit the pirates, 10-6, but couldn't come back from an early 3-0 deficit.
The Pirates (20-26, 6-8) took an early lead with three runs in the third inning. In the fourth frame, USF (32-17, 10-4) responded with a two-out, bases-loaded single by senior (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) that scored two runners. USF loaded the bases twice in the inning, but three runners got stranded.
