TAMPA, Fla. April 9, 2021 – The University of South Florida softball team opened up its weekend series against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane with a victory, 3-1, on Friday afternoon.
(Sanford, Fla.) earned the victory after pitching all seven innings in the win. The junior now sits at 12-4 on the season and has thrown 12 complete games. (Sarasota, Fla.) went 2-for-3 at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.
Tulsa scored first, plating a run in the first inning off an error to take a 1-0 lead. The Bulls answered in the third inning.
