ORLANDO, April 12, 2019 – USF remained undefeated in extra-innings with a 13-frame, 2-0, War on I-4 victory, the Bulls' seventh straight win in conference play.
The Bulls (30-15, 8-2) took down the Knights (28-12, 7-3) in game one of the War on I-4 series, battling through 12 scoreless innings before USF got on the board with a two-run homer, the only runs of the game.
In the top of the 13 inning, senior (Jacksonville, Fla.) hit a double to right center with one out. A popup followed, but redshirt sophomore (Bradenton, Fla.) brought the power with a two-out, two-run blast that soared over the right field fence.
