TAMPA, Fla., November 1, 2023 – University of South Florida men's soccer (6-8-1, 3-4-1) topped FAU (5-7-3, 3-5-0), 2-0, on senior night at Corbett Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Bulls found the net early, as scored just 11 minutes into the match. Spengler was assisted by Biran Schaefer before finding a sneaky shot into the back corner of the goalposts.
South Florida continued to create chances in the second half, where it took 10-of-16 total attempts on the night. With nine minutes to play the yellow cards went flying, giving a penalty kick opportunity. Anderson took his shot, sending FAU's goalkeeper in the opposite direction, which put USF up 2-0.
