The St. Johns, Fla. native completed the 5K course at The Claw, in a time of 18:12.87. In her final race on the home course, senior Melissa Westmoreland (Jupiter, Fla.) finished with a personal-best time of 18:51.96 and finished sixth.
“I really like the home course because it’s flat and a lot of Floridians like running on flat land,” said Taylor. “It was a good race especially have teammates here to support us as well as the athletics’ staff.
