BIRMINGHAM, AL., March 24, 2024 – The University of South Florida softball team (23-13, 3-6 AAC) fell to the University of Alabama-Birmingham (14-17, 5-4 AAC) in the series finale on Sunday afternoon. The Bulls fell with a final score of 7-5.
UAB took the early lead, scoring five runs in the opening frame. In the second inning, the Bulls hit four straight singles to score two runs. (Tampa) two-RBI single got the Bulls on the board.
The Blazers extended their lead, scoring two runs in the following two innings.
The Bulls added a run in the fourth inning.
