TAMPA, Nov. 4 2018 – USF looks ahead to the NCAA tournament after a 3-0 loss to No. 19 Memphis in The American Athletic Conference title match Sunday at Corbett Stadium.
The Tigers (17-3-0) had early momentum when they scored a goal in the sixth minute and held the Bulls to just four shots in the first half of the match, seven overall. Memphis added two insurance goals in the second half to claim its first tournament championship in The American.
A pair of Canadians combined for the most shots for USF as Evelyne Viens and Olivia Cooke each had two.
