Junior Sarah Streater finished fourth in the C Division, one point shy of the podium
ANNAPOLIS, Md., Oct. 10, 2016 – The University of South Florida sailing team encountered extreme weather conditions and tough competition, as the Bulls finished ninth at the Navy Women’s Fall Regatta on Saturday and Sunday.
The two-day event included weather elements that could not have been any different. The teams dealt with a deluge of rain but little to no winds on Saturday. That was followed by Hurricane Matthew remnants on Sunday, including winds of 22 knots sustained and gusts of 30.
