TAMPA (November 24, 2021) – Jake Boggs (Charlotte, N.C.) and Javon Greene (McDonough, Ga.) each hit clutch three-pointers late for the University of South Florida (3-2) on Wednesday night at the Yuengling Center as the Bulls came from behind for a 58-52 victory over the Hampton Pirates (2-4).
Boggs finished the game with six points and led all players with eight rebounds while Greene stuffed the stat sheet with 10 points, five rebounds, four assists and a career-high six steals.
Boggs' first triple in the second half helped erase a 24-21 halftime deficit and gave South Florida a 26-24 advantage after Russel Tchewa (Douala, Cameroon) opened the second-half scoring on the opening possession.
