TAMPA, Fla. Dec. 30, 2018 – USF women's basketball has announced the addition of freshman wing Luize Septe out of Ventspils, Latvia, to the roster. The 5-foot-11 freshman is eligible to play and practice immediately.
Septe signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Bulls in the offseason but was unable to join the Bulls' roster until December.
A native of Ventspils, Latvia, Septe has extensive experience playing in international competition and was tabbed a five-star prospect by both Passion Hoops and Blue Star Europe. She played for the under-18 Latvian national team in the 2017 European Championship, where she averaged eight points, five rebounds, and two assists per game.
