TAMPA, Fla., July 23, 2021 – Six with connections to University of South Florida Athletics have started competition in Tokyo as the opening ceremonies marked the formal start of Tokyo 2020 on Friday.

Softball
USF softball and USA softball head coach Ken Eriksen and USF/USA athletic trainer Michele Latimer have helped the Eagles to a 2-0 start thus far in Tokyo.
Team USA opened up group play with a 2-0 win over Italy on July 21.
