TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Oct. 7 2016 – For the second consecutive meet, sophomore Jessica Taylor finished in the top 10 to lead the USF women’s team at the FSU Invitational Friday morning in Tallahassee.
With overcast skies giving way to cooler temperatures, Taylor covered the 5K course in a time of 18:10.7 to place ninth. The finish was nearly identical to her previous race when the St. Johns, Fla., native was 10th at the Mountain Dew Invitational in a time of 18:10.04. She helped the women’s team to a fifth-place finish with 123 points.
