How He Came to USF: Joey will be walking on from John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Fun fact: USF head coach Brian Gregory was a former Hersey standout and 1985 graduate. During Joey’s sophomore season of high school he created his own website, JoeCoffaro2017.com, to help him stand out in the basketball recruiting world. The site contains stats, photos, phone numbers of high school and AAU coaches, his shoe size, standardized test scores, press clippings and more. Efficient, I must say.
